Another beautiful day out so we ventured to our second home, the park. Addalyn lucked out and got to play with another little girl for a few minutes until she left, and then she was stuck with her sister and Mom again. After 87 trips down the slide we walked home and now I find myself on the couch with this:
I am taking a gamble letting them take a late afternoon nap, but the pain I would endure trying to keep two tired little girls awake and happy until bedtime wasn't worth the trade off.
So here I am, sitting on the couch smelling a delicious dinner cooking in the kitchen and watching Friends.
So, while I have the time I thought the ol' blog could use an update. This past weekend was Easter and we spent the Holiday in Pittsburg. It was a great weekend with family and as usual we ate way too much and got far too many gifts, but all very much appreciated.
Just last Easter we were getting used to our life with two kids. I can't believe a year has come and gone and I REALLY can't believe how big these girls are. A year ago we didn't know much about little Olivia except she enjoyed eating and sleeping and was getting plenty of kisses from big sister. And now, although still little, she has a personality all her own. And of course Addy still gives out kisses but she throws a few jabs and punches in there as well!
